UPCA: Adjustment of the timeline – Start of the Sunrise Period on 1 March 2023

The initial roadmap foresaw 1 January 2023 as the beginning of the Sunrise Period with an entry into force of the UPCA on 1 April 2023. The additional time is intended to allow future users to prepare themselves for the strong authentication which will be required to access the Case Management System (CMS) and to sign documents.

BPO: New electronic services provided by the Patent Office from December 5

There are 42 new electronic services provided by Patent Office of The Republic of Bulgaria have been started, and 90 existing electronic services have been upgraded. The new services are mainly focused on the Supplementary Protection Certificate (SPC) and new plant and animal varieties.
