EPO: Second round of discussions on EPC, PCT-EPO and Unitary Patent Guidelines

The 28th meeting of the SACEPO Working Party on Guidelines (SACEPO WP/G) took place on 9 October 2024. This was the second of two meetings to discuss the draft Guidelines for 2025.​

USPTO terminates patent application proceedings for fraudulent use of signature

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued a final order terminating proceedings in roughly 3,100 patent applications for the fraudulent entry of the S-signature of a registered practitioner by someone other than the practitioner.
