International Symposium on Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer: Building a Growing Innovation Ecosystem, organized by the Chief Patent Officer and User Conference of Sanji Patent Office

The Japan Patent Office (JPO) will hold an international seminar with the University of Tokyo to discuss the practical situation of various intellectual property management in the process of transferring technology generated by universities to the industry. Representatives from the European Patent Office (EPO), the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), as well as the tri polar user groups (BE, JIPA, AIPLA, IPO) from Japan, the United States, and Europe, stepped onto the podium to challenge the use and role of intellectual property in solving social issues through the process of launching the Social Implementation Institute technology and collaborating with multiple researchers and organizations. Discussions were held from the respective positions of Japan, the United States, Europe, industry, government, and academia.
