USPTO Announced New AI Strategy to Empower Responsible Implementation of Innovation

The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy to guide the agency’s efforts toward fulfilling the potential of AI within USPTO operations and across the intellectual property (IP) ecosystem.

Korea implemented Patent Law Amendment to Prevent Technology Leakage

Recently, the Korean National Assembly passed amendments to the Patent Law to prevent patent technology leakage, the Utility Model Law, and the Patent Law to expand public drug selection rights. The revised bills will be promulgated in January 2025 and will take effect six months after promulgation.
