Use of WIPO’s Global IP Registries for Patents, Trademarks and Designs Grew in 2024
Designs contained in applications filed with the Hague System (International Design System) increased by 6.8% in 2024, while international patent applications filed through WIPO’s Patent Cooperation Treaty (International Patent System) increased by 0.5%. And following two consecutive years of decline, WIPO’s Madrid System for the International Registration of Trademarks (International Trademark System) saw a 1.2% increase in filing activity.

IPOPHL Responds to Growing Need for IP Commercialization Skills with Certification Course
The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) launched its certification course on Licensing, Audit, Valuation and Management of Intellectual Property Rights (LAV IP), an intensive four-day seminar designed to sharpen the skills of professionals for the management and valuation of intellectual property (IP) and intangible assets, according to the official website of IPOPHL.
