Vietnam: Long-awaited copyright decree issued following implementation of Vietnam’s amended intellectual property law

On 26 April 2023, the government issued Decree No. 17/2023/ND-CP giving details on a number of articles and prescribing implementing measures of the Law on Intellectual Property on copyright and related rights. Decree took effect on 26 April 2023, with no grace period.
